COVID-19 Guidelines
All Zeppone Caring Hands staff are supplied with masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer weekly in order to stop the spread of COVID-19. All ZCH staff members are to wear a mask while interacting with others.
Typical Lead CNA Duties include the following:
- Assisting patients with personal care needs (bathing, mouth care, shampoo, and hair care, transferring, dressing and undressing, and ambulation) and selected housekeeping and therapy services to our patients in their home.
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals and assisting in feeding patients.
- Assisting with basic activities and the daily living needs of patients.
- Measuring and recording patients’ temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered and/or directed by the RN, therapist, Clinical Manager, or personal care plan.
- Assisting patients with companionship services
- Holyer Lyft required
- Be able to work 40 hours & 2 weekends out of the month
- Training new hires in the field
- Complete Office Task (as needed)
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS NEEDED TO START WITH US: (Please bring all items below to your Interview)
- 2 Forms of I
- Documentation of Negative TB Screening within the Past Year
- Current, Unexpired First Aid/CPR Certification
Qualifications
- Must be Dependable
- Must-Have Reliable Transportation
- Must-Have a clean Criminal Background
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience and certification preferred
- Must have Home Health Experience
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL
- Must be available On Call when needed
- Work Weekends
Term: Part Time; Full Time
Pay Scale: $15- $16/hour
Performing a variety of office support, reception tasks, and other related tasks as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Zeppone Caring Hands Agency defines the duties and responsibilities of an Office Assistant as follows:

Customer Service/Communication:
- Answering and routing telephone calls.
- Conveying information both in writing and orally.
- Directing clients, visitors, and staff to appropriate resources.
- Generally acting as office receptionist (when in office)

Record Keeping:
- Shall be responsible for maintaining record-keeping and office filing systems
- Entering, editing, and retrieving data as required.
- Processing forms such as employee time sheets, expenditure claims, distribution logs, deposit forms, purchase requisitions, online supply orders, etc.
- Maintaining confidential databases, files, and other information as required.

Document Preparation:
- Shall be responsible for producing letters, spreadsheets, memos, and agendas from oral instructions, straight copy, or rough draft.
- Completing forms and other documents as required.
- Submitting print requests, preparing handbooks, manuals, pamphlets, flyers, etc.
- Proofreading records, forms, spreadsheets, letters, memos, schedules, and other documents for accuracy and completeness.

Staff Support:
- Train all new hires in their client's home.
- Goes out to all new clients their first week with Zeppone Caring Hands.
- Fills all open shifts (as needed)

Skills and Attributes
- He or she must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have an understanding of basic mathematics, proper telephone etiquette, standard types of office filing systems, and standard office equipment.
- Computer skills are a necessity.
- Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure and change.
- Must have the ability to work with little to no guidance.
- Should be non-judgmental and willing to respect clients and co-workers as well
- Must be positive and have a sunny personality.
- Must be willing to undergo an extensive criminal background check.
- A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
